What to expect:

Home Theater/ Media Room
Some items to consider pre-home theater consultation:

Do you want a TV or Projection system for your theater?

Do you want a soundbar or a true surround sound audio system?

Where will the equipment be located? Is there a cabinet in the room? Or would you prefer to equipment be relocated to a closet in another room?

How do you plan to control the theater? Do you want to use several remotes or a universal remote? Would you like the universal remote to also have an app for your smartphone?

Do you need us to build a riser for theater seating?

*Is there a window allowing natural light into the theater? We may recommend motorized blackout shades to reduce or eliminate glare on the screen.

Smart Home
What will be discussed:

Gather a list of items you would like the put on a control system for the home. These can include:

Whole house music

Splitting the video signals to different TVs or Projectors

Having control of all the lights, or only certain lights and putting them on a schedule

Adding security cameras to the system

Having control of the garage doors, and other deadbolts for entry doors.

Automated Shades
What might be discussed during the appointment:

Do you want motorized shades or manual shades with a pull-string? A motorized shade for a 3ft x 5ft window is approx. $800 per window, and the manual version is approx. $400 per window.

Do you want to filter sunlight or completely block out sunlight? We also have special shades where you can choose to filter the light, or block it out based upon your preference in the moment.

Do you want to control the shades from a smartphone app? Putting the shades on an automated schedule is also available.

Outdoor Entertainment
What might be discussed during the appointment:

Do you want an outdoor rated TV, or an indoor rated TV? Or an indoor TV mounted inside of an enclosure?

Is your outdoor space wired for speakers?

How many zones of audio do you want?

Are flower beds and landscaping around the space? This makes hiding the speakers easier.
